Our Preschool program is a play-based program where the children learn and develop in a fun, nurturing environment. Our focus is to see that each child is developing a love of learning along with the skills necessary for Kindergarten. Children have a weekly music class, and bi-weekly Bible story and exercise class. Children enjoy the alphabet-based weekly themes along with our Zoo-phonics curriculum, special guests (i.e., the fireman, dentist, etc.), science, Handwriting without Tears, estimating, and the field trips that the Fours and Pre-K classes take.
Moonbeams & Raindrops
For children 1-3 years old. Children need to be able to walk steadily and eat finger food. Classes will be assigned based on age. Classes focus on fine and gross motor skills, socialization and learning to cope with separation from mom and dad. They hear stories, sing songs, make crafts, and have an introduction to letters, numbers, shapes, and colors. They meet on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and/or Friday 9am to 2pm. Families are able to choose any number of days that work best for them.
Rainbows & Little Clouds
For children 3-4 years old and potty trained by school start date. Classes focus on letter and number recognition, shapes, colors, counting, as well as learning classroom practices such as circle time, class roles, show and share and much more! They meet Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and families may choose either the full day (9am to 2pm) or half day (9am to 11:30am) option.
For children 4-5 years old. Classes continue building on the foundation of letter and number recognition and expand that knowledge to learn letter sounds, handwriting, and math concepts using numbers and patterns. Field trips are planned to expand upon their classroom learning. This class prepares children for both Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten. A great option for children with spring and summer birthdays and can benefit from having Pre-Kindergarten. They meet on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9am to 2pm.
