Christian Women's Fellowship

“We declare to you what we have seen and heard so that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.” – CWF Scripture: 1 John 1:3

At Allisonville Christian Church each year, women participate in one of six Christian Women’s Fellowship (or “CWF”) groups called “circles,” which meet for fellowship and study. Meetings happen in the church building and in members’ homes. The CWF circles are:

  • Priscilla Circle - meeting the second Monday of each months at 10:30a.m.  in the church library.
  • Sarah Circle - meeting the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00p.m.  in member’s homes.
  • Mary and Martha Circle - meeting the second Thursday of each month at 12:30p.m. in members’ homes.
  • Damaris Circle - meeting the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00p.m. at the church in the Room 14.
  • Lydia Circle - meeting the second Monday of each month at 7:00p.m. in member’s homes.
  • Joy Circle - meeting the first Monday of each month at 10:00a.m. at Robin Run.

Men’s Group

The Men’s Group at Allisonville Christian Church has been meeting since 2005 and continues to grow in numbers around tables of fellowship. Times together include devotionals, prayer, and a time to fellowship together. Currently, two groups meet on a regular basis:

  • Group 1 - meeting at 7:30a.m. on the first Saturday of the month at the Cracker Barrel at I-69 and 96th Street.
  • Group 2 - meeting at 8:30p.m. on the second Saturday of the month at the Cracker Barrel at I-69 and 96th Street.

Senior Ministry

Allisonville Christian Church has two active Senior Groups:

  • Young at Heart - a group for those “slightly older in other places,” this group meets with a sense of humor and is bent on having fun. Organized in the 1980′s, this group takes short trips and meets monthly.
  • R & R (Recent Retirees) - this group is just about what is says. Meeting monthly, this group and Young at Heart sometimes combine and organize an event together for fun and fellowship.
