Allisonville Christian Church has a long tradition of outstanding musical worship and offers a variety of musical opportunities for those who would like to share their talents as an offering through musical worship. Allisonville musicians celebrate the Lord with voice, instruments and drama.
The Chancel Choir
Chancel Choir
Rehearsals: Thursday, 7:30p.m. – 9:00p.m.
Our premiere music ensemble is our chancel choir. With 40+ members, the choir contributes to our 9:30 traditional-style worship service every Sunday and occasionally during combined worship services. The choir also prepares major works from Bach to Mozart and hosts an annual choir retreat in which the choir gets to work with a top choral conductor and/or composer of today.
Allisonville Christian Church Praise Band

Rehearsals: Tuesday, 6:00p.m. – 7:30p.m.
Our worship band provides a variety of musical styles for worship and arts performances at Allisonville Christian Church and was recently featured during the Opening Worship of the 2011 General Assembly in Nashville, Tenn. The permanent elements of the ensemble include vocals (Kate Ayers), guitar (Max Reinhardt), bass guitar (Chris Higgins) and percussion (Cameron Bailey – not pictured.) Musicians are always welcome to offer their talents as special musical offerings or as substitute players. Contact the church staff if you would like to participate.

Rehearsals: Thursday, 6:00p.m. – 7:15p.m.
Our advanced handbell ensemble provides musical offerings during the 9:30 traditional-style worship on every fourth Sunday of the month. The ringers also prepare music for special concerts and festivals. Those that are not able to make weekly commitments to bell choir are invited to play as substitute ringers for rehearsals and performances.

Arts at Allisonville
Arts at Allisonville is a series of concerts and performances throughout the year features guests artisits or the musical talents of ACC members. Recent guest artists have included Laura and Rick Hall, Carrie Newcomer, the Indianapolis Children’s Choir, and Attaboy. Recent productions at Allisonville have included “Nunsense,” “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” and “Godspell.”
