July Allisonville Forum

In July, we welcome Dr. Rebecca Spurrier to present our Forum. She serves as the Associate Dean for Worship Life and Assistant Professor of Worship at Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia. Her current research interests focuses on the development of liturgical resources that are informed by the wisdom of disability experience that responds to ableism in Christian worship. Dr. Spurrier's presence is made possible through the Vital Worship, Vital Preaching Grant we received from the Calvin Institute for Christian Worship. All attendees will also receive a copy of her book, The Disabled Church: Human Difference and the Art of Communal Worship, compliments of the grant. This event will be livestreamed on ACC's Facebook page for those who wish to attend virtually.
