Children's Worship and Wonder (ages Pre-K to 2nd grade)
CW&W is a faith and worship-centered approach complete with storytelling,
ritual, and fellowship. It is designed to help children learn the stories of the Bible and develop a deeper relationship with God. All CW&W leaders are
specially trained for this unique children’s experience. Participants will be
dismissed after Children’s Sharing Time in worship.
Children’s Worship (2nd-4th grade)
Children are invited for a time of fellowship and prayer together, immediately
following Children’s Sharing Time.
Sundays at 11
Children’s Worship and Wonder (ages 3 to 1st grade)
Kids are dismissed for CW&W immediately following Children’s Sharing Time.
Children’s Sunday School (2nd/3rd graders and 4th/5th graders)
Kids are dismissed for Sunday School immediately following Children’s Sharing
Time.
Children's Sunday School (ages 1st-5th grade) - education wing
Chi-Rho (Middle School) – Retreat House
Led by Gary Hume and JD Reed.
CYF (High School) – Texaco Room
Led by Theron Nelson-Mercer and Janette Smith.
Faith Class (adults) – Fireplace Room
Explores the scriptures following the lectionary readings and discussion about
their meaning in our lives. Fun, fellowship and caring are the keys to this class.
Led by Steve Belding and Don Burrell.
LIFE Class (adults) – Room 15
“Living In Faith Everyday” explores a wide variety of topics that seek to relate
Christian faith to our everyday lives, starting
out with a book by Adam Hamilton entitled “Half Truths: God Helps Those Who
Help Themselves and Other Things the Bible Doesn’t Say”. Led by Russ Smith,
Joel Duffield, Sue Shadburne Call, and Richard Schevitz.
Pathfinders Class (adults) – Chalice Room
This course exists to help participants seek the path of understanding scripture
in the context of the lives of people, young and old, parents, grandparents,
siblings and mentors; as we seek to “Find God in the Chaos of Clutter of Life”
while “stepping on Cheerios”! Led by Jim and Peggy Powell and Pam Rahn.
Seekers Class (adults) – Room 14
Class lessons are topic-driven. Class members will submit topics of interest
which are placed in a basket. Each week, a topic is drawn for the upcoming
week’s lesson – this makes for interesting and unexpected conversations! Led
by Everett Gasaway and Dave Tatum.
