Who We Are
We have two thriving youth groups: Chi-Rho, for grades 5-7, and CYF, which is students in 8-12th grade. During the time of COVID-19, we will meet online-only on Sunday afternoons each week. Those interested in learning more about our youth programs and how to connect with us via Zoom on Sundays should contact our Associate Minister, Doug Collins at .
What We Do
We have an active youth group with lots of exciting things going on! At Allisonville, we strive to plan programming for and with youth that is engaging, thought-provoking, fosters honest dialogue, and builds up our youth to form a faith that has room to wiggle, yet affirms God's love for all people.
If you have any questions about our program, please contact our Associate Minister, Doug at .
Here is just a short list of things our youth are doing:
Mission trips - in 2019, we traveled to Texas and worked is an organization on assisting Hurricane Harvey families with home repairs. Our trip theme was addressing our relationship with climate change and what we can do as people of faith to curb its disastrous effects, like the intensification of hurricanes.
Indianapolis CROP World Hunger Walk
Preparing and hosting dinner for our Interfaith Hospitality Network guests
Weekly youth group (all via Zoom until further notice)
